Risk Assessment Management Program (RAMP)

All teachers meet with the Assistant Principal each fortnight to monitor students deemed to be "at risk". During each session we discuss the wellbeing of students about whom we have concerns and review students discussed in previous sessions. Staff discuss individual, school and psychosocial risk factors and protective factors. This way we can see the balance of factors in the child's life. Often other team members can suggest other items that can be addressed, e.g. a good relationship with at least one teacher.

Strategies are put in place to remove risk factors or add protective factors.

Other follow-up may include referral to Psychologist, Speech Pathologist, welfare or other agencies.
