Student Council

Students are involved in a range of leadership programs, including Student Council. Student Councillors are elected by classmates form Years 2-6 to represent their interests. Student Council meets regularly. They are responsible for assisting with the planning of social service fundraising. Recent projects include: Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal, State Schools Relief, World Wild Life Fund, and Melbourne Zoo.

The Student Council developed the Heatherhill School Oath, which is recited by the school community at the weekly school Assembly:

At Heatherhill we show respect for others, ourselves, our school and the wider community.

We are fair, honest, truthful and reliable.

At all times we try to do our best, by learning to excel together.
